Description:Nice lunchtime food in this upstairs cafe. The waiting staff kmew about CD issues but not about risks of putting GF florentines in same container as shortbread. One recommended meals that could be adapted for me and the one I had was great value at £5.50. Sometimes pavlova available. Passed on the florentine though.

Description: Peter the head chef is keen to encourage any Coeliacs to eat in his restaurant. There are only two of his sauces that have wheat flour in them and every meal on the menu can be made gluten free. Just contact Peter beforehand and he will ensure you have a wonderful and gluten free meal.

Description: Award winning fish and chip shop. Chips are fried separately and are great. Curry sauce isn't GF tho. Check when buying that they are still cooked separately. easy parking outside on main road.

Description: restaurant in golf club 5 miles east of Ballymoney. Staff very helpful to coeliacs and menu has several items that are GF. Good fresh and well served food. Definitely worth a visit if passing nearby. Lovely situation.

Description: The cafe of this department store keeps supplies of GF biscuits but doesn't display them. They are bought in from Tesco but are still welcome. Ask at the counter. Sometimes supplies run out tho.

Description: One of the complex of 3 restaurants in the harbour area owned by the same people. It has a GF menu if you ask and it is not as dear as the other two. Nice well cooked food.

Description: Literally a cellar restaurant right in the centre of this seaside town. It specialises in seafood but can cater for others too. Several visiting coeliacs have eaten happily there. Not good for those who cannot cope with stairs though

Description: This is one of 3 restaurant in the harbour owned by the same people. This one now has a GF menu like the others. It is very busy -bookings only for 10+ - can feel a bit rushed due to demand but the food is good.

Description: Very nice hotel just outside Ballymena. very personal service and the food was great The hotel was very good at catering for the GF diet. I was told that none of the sauces contained flour. I really enjoyed my 3 course Sunday lunch (£15.95pp)Highly recommended.

Description: This restaurant is part of a chain with 3 outlets in N Ireland, one in GT Victoria St Belfast, another in the Odyssey Complex Belfast and the latest here in Antrim. There is another in Bournmouth. They have a separate GF and peanut allergy menu if you ask. Hope to try it soon myself but have tried the one in the Odyssey and it was fine.

Description: My fellow office coeliac tells me that we can eat here if we ask for GF food. I haven't tried it yet. She is not sensitive to gluten but I am.

Description: Nice restaurant close to town centre. Easy access. Chef Geoffrey is GF aware and will adapt a dish to order eg make a cream reduction sauce for you in place of non Gf one. Prices £5-10 for main course.
