Description: I contacted itsabagel regarding gluten free bagels. They confirmed that they do sell gluten free bagels.

Q) For ‘supersensitives’, is it possible to heat a bagel on site without contamination from bagels containing gluten / is there any provision made to use separate butter / fillings etc to prevent breadcrumbs contaminating the gluten free bagel?

Ans: We take every precaution to eliminate cross contamination. Each gluten free bagel that is prepared in our shops in wrapped separately in foil before it is warmed in the oven. If the bagel is to be toasted we toast it on a different unit from our normal bagels. Also, all filled gluten free bagels prepared by our staff have a equally strict procedure. Each staff member, for each gluten free bagel, will put on a new pair of vinyl gloves, and prepare the bagel on a separate cutting board with a separate knife.
